While making the necklace, I realized that the thin piece extending from the bird, if bent can be snapped off. It still can be worn if care is taken.

The base I used to wrap the fabric around was a tad too small, resulting in some gaps between the fabric and cameo. Still a lovely piece that I couldn’t bear to throw, as the gaps are not that obvious when worn.
